Hi Everyone! First off, I can't get my picture to "stick." I'm not a fan of having my face on the internet, so at first I tried to upload a picture of my keyboard. That didn't work, so I switched to an actual picture of myself thinking that was the issue. That didn't work either. Says "Avatar field is required." I "signed up" v, signing in with Google or Facebook, because those wouldn't work either. Said I didn't have "permission." At least I got my name onboard 😆
I first started playing the organ as a kid, but always wanted to play the piano instead, so about 10 yrs I bought an acoustic, and 1 yr ago a keyboard. I think it would be so cool to play in a band, or at least with someone else! A couple of years ago I decided start singing while I play. It's starting to be fun, but I feel like it takes away from from my playing skills. There are also so many techniques & skills I want to master beside just being able to play a song! The "flavor" type of things.
I'm not sure I have one particular favorite song or genre, but I know thing....it's not Classical! 🤣
Best meal. That's a tough one. I've had lots of great food items, & when I travel I always like to have food specific to wherever I am, but I would have to say the best was the food/experience combo when my husband & I had BBQ (ribs, cornbread, greens) in a Blues restaurant on Beale St. in Memphis, TN. Super rustic atmosphere, awesome music, & the food was phenomenal! Years later when we went back to Memphis, we went to the same restaurant!
