alexx88 , here is my grand piano, though at the moment it is stuck back in the corner of the living room so I can move other furniture.
You mentioned your parents bought an organ when you were a kid. I wanted to briefly mention a quick story when my parents also bought an organ:
My Dad, who pasted away several years back, was a true multi-instrumentalist. He had even more musical toys but he knew how to play them all with great skill. His ability to sing any song and play any instrument always impressed and well, intimidated me as a kid.
In fact when I was a kid we lived in an old wood-and-brick 2.5 story house built in 1919 that looked kinda like the Munsters or the Addams house. Dad bought a real Wurlitzer Church Pipe Organ complete with pipes and all the stops β I think it had four levels of keys plus two rows of foot petals and three or four rows of stops β and he could play all of them. He and I modified the upstairs floors to accommodate the pipes.
Dad could play anything and set the appropriate mood. At Halloween, he would play scary-sounding songs on the pipe organ. We would put old, oil-burning hurricane lanterns to either side of the organ and turn out all the other lights which made the organ and Dad visible from the street. Young kids would walk halfway up the sidewalk and freeze in fear while their parents would walk all the way to the front door and just say βWow!β We would still give them candy for their kids. We made up for it at Christmas time when he would play Christmas songs to accompany the street carolers as they passed by.
Just wanted to add that little bit, maybe a little off-topic, but you get the idea. -- Skip
