What's your 'pie in the sky' tune? That incredible song you dream of being able to play one day?
Tell us your dream songs to play on piano and why those are so dreamy for you (is there a memory attached?).

I want to learn more songs by Stevie Wonder and SuperTramp at the moment.

I think it would be a 'hoot' to be able to just sit down (randomly, e.g. on one of those community pianos in the park) and have fun playing Jerry Lee Lewis 1950's style, e.g Great Balls of Fire like in the Topgun movie. I've also got an interest in finding a reasonable Hammond organ sound on my RD88 for Steve Winwood's Gimme Some Loving and being able to play that (not yet though, still gotta lot to learn first 😄 (memory? I grew up in the 50/60s in the UK and Jerry Lee Lewis/Steve Winwood/Spencer Davies Group were as exciting as the Beatles to listen to). 😆

MikeClarke so cool! I love that firstly there are pianos in parks these days, it's been so awesome to watch people having a go on them over the past decade I wanna say? Not sure exactly how long they've been around, but I remember seeing 'street pianos' pop up around London when I lived there and it seems to have sprouted across the globe! I even filmed myself doing a 'street piano challenge' around London a few years ago, that was fun! Highly recommend spending a day doing that!
Great Balls of Fire is such the perfect crowd pleaser song to do on a public piano! And not a piece you can play timidly, = needs the shoe up on the keys at some stage for sure! 😆
