How many of you suffer from pain or strain as a result of, or exacerbated by, playing piano?!?! AND the 2nd question is, what do you do about it? Do you just stop playing for a while? Or do you have other remedies that work / or don't work as much as you'd like them to?
I know for me I used to have trouble with the outer joints on my wrists, and sometimes sore pinkies (from poor technique), that's less of a problem now but I get store neck, shoulders & upper back!!!
(of course, we're preparing for the next course 'Yoga for Pianists!' which will help us all to relax, destress our muscles and joints from playing piano.. all good stuff! Coming soon!!!!!)
