Piano Dreams/Small Goals for 2021

After you've watched the December coaching on how to achieve piano success in 2021, let's discuss your dreams and smaller goals that you're going to smash out!
You can share whatever you're comfortable sharing here: so your big el kahuna dream, your smaller versions of that dream that become goals to work toward, your milestones, and finally if you're brave - share your final milestone date so that we can cheer you on!

My big piano goals for 2021 (Creative):

Improve my musical ear
a. Get through the SBE 30-day challenge
b. Practice recommended pop songs (still SBE)
c. Finish the "Play Melodies by Ear: Solfa" roadmap in Musical U (then begin to tackle ones for playing by ear through intervals, and playing chords by ear)
Learn to improvise / riff freely
a. Review previous Piano Picnic lessons on improvising
b. Finish the "Learn to Improvise" roadmap in Musical U
c. Start "Riffing Pro" course on Piano Picnic

1 & 2 combined: Make piano arrangements of my favorite film music / pop songs / tunes that my family love just by listening (al least three pieces).

Maximize Piano Picnic & Musical U resources throughout the year (e.g. monthly coaching, masterclasses, modules etc.)

Bonus: Explore jazz music, then (if I can) play basic jazz tunes too.

I have big goals for my traditional skills as well, but so far the above ones are what I want to achieve when it comes to creative piano playing. I've narrowed them down to smaller parameters, but including those here would take massive space.

noellah-jeannica WOW Noellah - this is some great work - and excellently broken down into tangible, achievable smaller goals. For yourself, you may want to break down those smaller goals onto a calendar, for instance.. finish 30 day challenge by.... date, finish first recommended song by ... date, 2nd recommended song by.... date... Etc. It's more work NOW, so that you can think less later! 😄
And excited to teach you more about Riffing! Jazz music one day too! I'm impressed that you've separated your creative skills from the traditional in terms of goals - that's awesome. Remember, sometimes the two can/will intersect, so think about if you could bring the two worlds together. For instance, if you have a classical piece that you are perfecting from sheet music, take a moment one day to try to analyse the chords in that piece and improvise a little – that crossover can be really helpful for integrating the left/right brain in music!
